Responsibilities: - Become an expert in our platform — mastering its functionality, capabilities, and related tools so you can confidently tackle challenges and innovate solutions. - Investigate reported issues to determine whether they stem from software defects, data discrepancies, non-software factors, or intended product behavior. - Translate findings into action by implementing precise code corrections when needed, ensuring quality and reliability in every release. - Conduct thorough developer testing and collaborate closely with our Quality Assurance team to deliver flawless user experiences. - Create clear, concise technical documentation, as well as user-friendly explanations for internal teams and external clients, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements - Full-stack Senior Engineer - 5+ years Laravel experience - 5+ years react/Vue experience (Vue preferred) - Experience working with AWS. You would feel comfortable managing IAM, RDS, Deployment pipelines, ALB, CloudFront, CloudWatch, EC2, Elastic beanstalk, EC2, Lambdas, etc Experience with Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Pulumi or Terraform - Understand SQL best practices - Have fully managed projects before. Worked with stakeholders, gathered requirements, wrote code, deployed code, maintained application for > 2 years. - Would have confidence after onboarding with being responsible for shipping code and handling critical bugs if our CTO was on vacation/incapacitated - This job would be 90% understanding requirements and developing the application and 10% infrastructure Portland, Oregon based candidates preferred - English fluency required Work samples While not required, we strongly encourage you to share URLs or Git repositories showcasing past projects. These examples help us better understand your skills and approach to building great software.
